Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, and Wayne David Cardellini (a father) and an entrepreneur. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descent. Linda was the eldest child of California, grew up around and around the San Francisco Bay Area. She began her interest in acting at age ten, when she sang in the school's Christmas show. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by her stage name Lily James, is an English actress. Her acting career began in the year 2010 with the British television series Just William, in which she studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella was her breakout performance following her appearance in the role of Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James was later cast as the Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) and also appeared in a variety of movies, including the action movie Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), and the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 was recognized with Golden Globes as well as Primetime Emmy Awards.
